01.3 — TOTAL BLACK

2021 — ongoing

Drawing as a generative process.

Beginning with a daily practice of drawing, this research explores the relationship between gesture, repetition, material transformation, and the emergence of images.

A black mark, altered by water, becomes the starting point for unforeseen forms and chromatic variations. Drawing moves beyond representation, becoming an open field in which intention and unpredictability coexist.

From notebooks to large-scale paper and textile works, the practice gradually expands beyond the page, exploring new relationships between drawing, painting, memory, and space.

The image is not predetermined. It emerges through the process and remains open to recognition and interpretation.
