The discovery of a language.

The project began with an encounter with a production error. During the processing of PMMA, certain discarded fragments revealed unexpected characteristics: inclusions, chromatic variations, and irregular edges transformed material destined to be discarded into something that invited observation.

This is the moment when matter ceases to be merely material and becomes a language.

The first frames emerged from the desire to isolate these fragments. Framing became the first gesture of the research: it does not construct an image, but creates the conditions for one to emerge.
