EXHIBITION STATEMENT
Beyond the horizon.
Escaped develops the investigation of landscape through a progression of colour. The relationship between sky and earth gradually transforms, until both merge into a single perceptual field.
Petrol green becomes the colour of their encounter, while variations of pink and orange evoke the changing light of the landscape.
The horizon is not represented as a boundary, but as an open space through which the gaze can move beyond the visible.
